The Summer Cool program starts June 1, 2008, but appointments won't start until Monday the 2nd 2008.  This year the program is open to everyone who meets income guidelines you will qualify for a $50 benefit to be applied to your electric bill. This program helps off-set the higher summer cooling costs.

Remember your already approved if you received assistance during the winter months (October 9th - May15).

Community Action agencies are nonprofit private and public organizations established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight America’s War on Poverty.  Community action agencies help people to help themselves in achieving self-sufficiency.  Today there are approximately 1000 Community Action Agencies serving the poor in every state as well as Puerto Rico and the Trust Territories.
